The Body Remembers

A free introduction to the conversation with your body.

Your body is constantly communicating. This is a gentler place to begin learning its language: body literacy, fascia, movement, tension patterns, lymphatic flow, recovery, and somatic awareness — not as a list to master, but as signals to notice.

A conversation with the body, before the correction.

01 / Start with noticing

Notice before you change.

A gentler starting point: becoming curious about the pattern before trying to correct it. The body is always offering information; awareness gives you a way to meet it.

01

The somatic layer

What you experience physically and internally — and how those experiences interact.

02

Notice before you change

Become curious about the original pattern before correcting it.

03

Knowing isn't experiencing

Understanding yourself is not the same as being able to experience something different.

04

Your body has a vocabulary

Gut feelings, tight chests, lumps in throats — learn to become fluent in your own signals.

02 / A guided conversation

Listen to the body.

Come as you are. Bring the body you have today.

Prefer to read along? Download the 7-Day Body Conversation Journal and follow the practice.

03 / Companion journal

The 7-Day Body Conversation.

For seven days, experiment with listening — not fixing. Three times a day. Morning, midday, evening. About sixty seconds is enough. Ask: What am I feeling physically? What am I feeling emotionally? What do I need? What am I overriding? And follow aliveness too — notice what expands you, what makes your body feel more available, what makes you feel more like yourself.

05 / Why this work

My body was my first teacher.

“I didn't come into this work because I had a perfectly peaceful relationship with my body. My body has been one of my greatest teachers. I became extremely good at functioning through pain — until I had to ask: when does resilience become overriding?”

06 / A quieter next step

Keep the conversation open.

For anyone who feels called to go further, The Remembering is a private space for deeper personal work. For now, let this first conversation be enough.

07 / Keep listening

Your body has been talking. Maybe you're finally ready to listen.

Keep the conversation open. Notice. Listen. Respond when it feels appropriate. And keep coming back.
